May: Unleashing the Wild–Adventure

(Click here to go back to the “Loving My Actual Life” Monthly Challenges Hub Page.)

I’m so glad you are joining us for the May challenge!

Adding meaningful adventure to different areas of our lives can make such a difference to the enjoyment of our lives, and I’m hoping that for you!

  1. Have a look at the May Awareness Questions to help you think about what areas of your life may need more adventure.

2.  Then take a look at some more possible ideas and resources that might help you add more adventure to your life.

3. I’d be thrilled if you’d then write one to three of your goals in the comment section below, as well, but this is not mandatory.  Feel free to send me an e-mail with them instead, if you like–accountability is so helpful to the success of your goals!

If you have any questions, please let me know. I’ll be happy to answer them 🙂

  1. So these adventure goals weren’t too hard for me to come up with because most of them have been on my heart lately:
    1. Start an ESL conversation group for moms in my area. I’ve become friends with various moms who can’t get to ESL because they need to take care of their kids. I think it would be so fun to get together once a week and learn about a topic while practicing the vocabulary and grammar for it, such as gardening, Canada Day, camping, etc. Already the moms seem interested, so I think this is where God is leading me 🙂
    2. I keep wanting to schedule a monthly fun date with my husband, but we both tend to put it off, since we do spend time at home together in the evenings a bit. But I really think this would be good for us, and the first thing I hope to do is go golfing with him this May since he likes golf, and I think it would be fun as a date, too.
    3. I would like to do some more “fun” stuff with some of the moms I’ve been meeting, as I mentioned before, such as going to the beach and just hanging out. I also want to think about this summer and what would be some good goals–such as camping, etc.–maybe with friends or others that we are reaching out to 🙂
