Some possible ideas for your goals for the month of September:
- Choose one interest that you’ve had for awhile but haven’t pursued much. Decide on some little steps you could take this month to begin testing out this passion and see where it goes. How can you both have fun with it and benefit others to bring them joy?
- Think of some people you’d love to reach out to and help and again, think of some little ways you could do this this September…and maybe you’ll want to continue to help over the rest of the year.
- Is there a project you started before (and felt really passionate about), but you ended up giving up because it got too hard? Perhaps this is the time to pick it up again and think about what your next step could be and who might be able to help you.
- If you aren’t sure what your passions (or purpose is), sign up and go through my short (and free) Passion and Purpose 5-Day Video E-Course (see summary below). You could work through that during the first two weeks of September and then use the last two weeks to begin some baby steps to living out what you discovered.
Okay, I don’t think I’m going to list too many resources below, since there are thousands of possible passions and interests you might have.
But one of the resources I will list is a free one that I created to help you figure out your passions and purpose and begin taking baby steps to living that out. I really think you’ll benefit from this e-course– it’s super-short, too! Just a 5-minute video every other day over a week and a half, plus a worksheet each day to help you work out the concepts. Let me know what you think! Not only that, but in the last e-mail in the course, you’ll get a deal on coaching (if you like) to continue to help you on your way. Either way, I think this course should help you a lot, whether you have a good idea of what many of your passions are or you don’t.
These books are also great resources for figuring out your passions/purpose and learning how to live it out:
